UV Light Installation
UV-C light installation for HVAC systems. Kill mold, bacteria, and viruses in your air and on coil surfaces — silently, 24/7.
About This Service
UV-C germicidal lights installed inside your HVAC system kill mold, bacteria, and viruses on the evaporator coil and in the air passing through. They’re silent, operate continuously, and last 1-2 years per bulb. Effective against airborne pathogens (UV-C air sterilization) and surface contamination (coil mold prevention).nnWe install Honeywell, Aprilaire, Lennox, and Reme Halo systems with proper sizing, placement, and electrical hookup.
What's Included

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about uv light installation in Colorado.
Can I get a quote for UV light installation?
Yes — pricing depends on whether you choose a single coil-mounted UV light or a dual-bulb air-sterilization system. Replacement bulbs are an annual cost we'll explain upfront. Call for a free quote.
Does UV-C actually work in HVAC systems?
Yes for coil sterilization (kills mold/biofilm at the source) — well-proven. For air sterilization, effectiveness depends on dwell time (how long air passes through UV). Properly sized systems work; undersized ones don't.
Is UV-C dangerous?
UV-C is dangerous to skin and eyes if exposed directly, but installed UV-C is enclosed inside ductwork — completely safe. Never look at an active UV-C bulb.
How often do UV bulbs need replacement?
Every 12-24 months depending on the model. After this, output drops below germicidal levels even though the bulb still glows. We schedule reminders for plan members.
UV light vs air purifier — which is better?
They do different things. UV-C kills microorganisms; air purifiers/filters trap particles (dust, pollen, smoke). Best results combine both — typical full IAQ system has filter + UV.
